Establishment of Asahi Mini Rope Co., Ltd. in Sakai, Osaka, Japan.
Start of production of ultra-thin stainless steel wire ropes.
1976

Establishment of Asahi Mini Rope Sales Co., Ltd. (currently ASAHI INTECC CO., LTD.) in Nagoya, as the sales division of Asahi Mini Rope Co., Ltd.Osaka Sales Office opens.

Tokyo Sales Office opens.

Asahi Mini Rope Sales Co., Ltd. acquires capital investment from the Nagoya Small and Medium Business Investment & Consultation Co., Ltd.

Establishment of ASAHI INTECC THAILAND CO.,LTD. as an overseas affiliated company in Thailand.

Opening of the Medical Development Headquarters to start R&D of medical devices.

Completion and start of operation of the Seto Factory in the Akatsuki Industrial Complex developed by the Aichi Prefecture.

Establishment of Asahi Intecc (HK) Co., Ltd. as the overseas sales supervision base in Hong Kong.

Merger with Asahi Fine Tecc Co., Ltd. an affiliated firm specializing in wire drawing and resin coating technologies and its reorganization into the Fine Technology Division (currently the Osaka Takaishi Factory).
1997
March
Project"(Special Metallic Wire with High Torque Transmission), Manufacturing and Sales of Its Applied Products" recognized as a specified new project under the New Project Law by the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

New head office completed in Moriyama-ku, Nagoya.

Seto Factory acquires certification under international standards DIN EN ISO 9001, JIS Z9901 EN 46001 and ISO 13485.

Liquidation of Asahi Intecc (H. K.) Co., Ltd. and opening of the Hong Kong Branch which takes over its operations.

The "Research and Survey into Synchro Mesh Ropes" approved as a target of subsidization from the Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation.

Change of registered head office address from Akatsuki-cho, Seto, to Wakita-machi, Moriyama-ku, Nagoya.
Establishment of the US Representative Office of the Medical Division in California, USA, for expansion of collection of technical and market information related to medical devices and materials.

July
Industrial Device Division renamed the Device Division to enhance its future operations. In addition, the Medical Device Department is established in the division to promote positive participation in the medical material market.

Completion and start of operation of the Medical Factory of ASAHI INTECC THAILAND CO., LTD.
2002

The Medical Division and Device Division acquire certification under international environment management system standards DIN EN ISO 14001 and JIS Q14001.
